Harvey:
The grip material is very weak, and the left half in broken. Walther's price for them should be $12 instead of $100-125. You might want to check with this seller. IIRC, they are imported from Turkey and are priced more reasonably than Walther. Walther magazines are also that costly. and Promags work, but you gotta pull them out of the pistol. Magazines were always expensive here, but I found a seller in Germany back in the day who sold and shipped me 2 for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, I no longer have the info on that seller. But here's a site that might help. Put 1 in the cart, then hit the tab that says "See in which shops the item is available", which will list a number of shops, most of whom appear to be in the Baltic States. It's worth a try, eh? For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: >>>I would have kept my P88 for a longer time, but the grip always felt too big for my comfort. But it was a real accurate shooter.<<< Truth!!! The grip IS too fat for me, too. And, shooting it in DA mode, only the very tip of my finger touches the trigger . Much better in SA mode.
