For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Interesting video, TJ - thanks! I'm surprised that Ian didn't know why the barrel was necked down for a distance. That allows clearance for the tilted barrel during the slide's rearward travel, while allowing close tolerances between barrel and bushing when completely in battery. I don't think it's that unusual.
