For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We have a S&W Md 15-2 in the nightstand loaded with +P. I take my wife to the range mid week a couple of times a year, she'll never win a bull's eye match but she can put all 6 in a center mass target at 10 feet. When I'm away hunting she keeps the bedroom door locked with a deadbolt. If somebody ever broke in the house she will dial 911 and stay in the bedroom behind a locked door. She knows to tell 911 she is armed and if, God forbid" the baddie tried to break down the door she knows to put a couple through the door at chest height!
