| True. Hard to make a hunt exciting when it's controlled as these are. But the idea of taking such a large animal, cleanly, and without taking down another in the herd was apparently appealing. But I think for excitement along these lines I'd rather hunt Cape buffalo in Africa. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Kind of a mundane hunt. I’ve had duck hunting trips that were more exciting but that’s the way buffalo hunting is. What used to make it exciting was the hostile Injuns sneaking up behind you. |
