I bought that rifle in a hardware store in New Mexico in 1984. At the time, it was all I could afford. I occasionally think about buying something newer but this one does everything I need it to do.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Harvey and Allan, I believe Kim still hunts with a .270 that I glass-bedded for him many years ago.  And we've all seen the photos of the deer he harvests every year.
