Over the years I’ve used a variety of guns and calibers. Some 30-30's, 223/5.56, 30-06, a Winchester 1882 in 32-20. Back in the 1970's it was legal to use buckshot and we would creep through the thick river bottoms and shoot deer that were hiding in there toward the end of the season. When I was a kid I didn’t have a decent deer rifle and would often borrow whatever I could get. |
