For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We frequently had problems with the Franklin Armory Binary Triggers. The trigger would often outrace the hammer, causing spectacular failures where the lower would have to be disassembled to get the stuck hammer moving again. Some of the lowers also had to have material removed in order to fit the binary triggers in to function. One of my armorers ended up doing this and the customer flipped out. I ended up replacing the lower and forbidding the removal of material. This was one reason I didn't want to take on gunsmithing work. Too much potential liability. |
