the Savage was about half the price of the Bergara. Knowing what I know now, I would buy the Savage and use the money saved for higher quality ammo.
I kinda thought that might be the case, but both long guns are known for their accuracy. Rimfire ammunition is a world unto itself, and one that I plead ignorance in. Let us know if that Eley that Allan suggested works out. Both rifles have 4 X 16 scopes. I can't see the target at 50 yards so scopes are a must have. I can relate to that! Harvey |
