For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Correct me if I'm wrong, but that scope is a lot like a Unertl. 
They are similar enough that I thought this scope was a Unertl until I read the name on it. I would rather have a modern scope on this gun but I'm not about to have any drilling or tapping done to the receiver. I'm also convinced I should leave well enough alone. I might have to rethink this if the Lyman ever fails but it's neat to use the old stuff while it's working perfectly. |
