I agree with you though--it would have been the perfect carry gun for the reasons you say.
I couldn't help but draw a mental parallel between it and my current carry gun: Harvey's old Commander with its new Wilson ramped match barrel and a few other Wilson parts that probably fit like Colt's hand-fitted parts did back then. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You were a little young for it then. Did they make diaper IWB holsters in the 30s....? Just kidding!  I know, I'm not that funny.  I agree with you though--it would have been the perfect carry gun for the reasons you say.
