![]() ![]() Section 8: Handguns Subject: Another P320 Story Msg# 1223095

There almost seems to be a common theme here with the P320. I only own one, and that was to familiarize myself with the gun. It's a compact .40 of all things. I picked it up for $300 with 6 magazines, used of course.
I personally think the trigger is far too light on factory standard and it's made me think about getting one with a manual safety of all things because of that trigger. I haven't thought about getting a gun with a manual safety in YEARS outside of a couple of training guns for new shooters or older guns that I just like (Taurus G2C and 3rd Gen Smiths, or a Beretta 92FS here and there). The only other SIG I have at this point in time is a standard P365, not an XL, Mango, or SiSS or whatever other special flavors or sights. It's not even cut for an optic, that's how basic this pistol is. It's trigger isn't as light as the P320's is, but it's still far lighter than my G19. Even so, I carry this gun in an OWB holster that covers the trigger and I haven't really given it a second thought. The P320 though gives me pause and pretty much guarantees that I will never carry this gun. If I want to carry something in .40 S&W, I'm either going to carry a 610 revolver, or my HK USP 40 with the LEM trigger. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I post this just so people can hear as many of these stories as possible. I don't think this is a good story, but I succumbed to the desire to inform, such as it is. I have no comment myself. |
