Handguns--Modern
Description: My rebuilt second generation Glock 23. Slide was refinished with flat black Aluma-Hyde II from Brownell's. OEM rear sight and Trijicon front night sight were used. All small internal slide parts were replaced with OEM parts due to wear and extractor breakage. Trigger mechanism housing was replaced due to broken ejector. Trigger spring was replaced with NY-1 and connector with minus connector to give clean, firm pull of 5-6lbs. Guide replaced with ISMI stainless steel rod and heavier spring of 20lbs due to Glock OEM springs being too light--same as 9mm springs which don't have the same slide velocity as the .40S&W. Barrel is original. The result is essentially a new pistol without the third generation fingergrooves.
