The gun definitely appeals to me for some odd reason. I think it's because I'm thinking of getting back into Cowboy Action Shooting.
You know, the SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) has games that they call "Wild Bunch" matches that are shot with the 1911. I know, not very "old west" but it gives them an excuse to shoot 1911s in .45 ACP. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I like the concept of that Ruger and it looks like it would be a hoot to shoot. But, while I'd be happy to shoot yours, they don't appeal to me enough to buy one - I'd rather run those ACP rounds through a 1911 I already have! |
