I told you guys early Mon AM (0300 or so) that the pistol was shown off-safe, so I am puzzled by everyone's later confusion. And Harvey's owner's manual simply verified what I told you. I don't begrudge you guys verifying these things--OF COURSE--but I am curious why everyone seemed to be still so confused after I had posted the fact....

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I admit that I made a big logical jump, that the visibility of F for "Fire" meant the gun was off-safe!  It also looked similar to the European guns that had you push up, not down, on the safety to disable it.
We'll see what our resident Walther experts have to say - I'm certainly not one! Stu |
