I see them as in different categories. But--and I think you help make this point--the S&Ws are more like Colts in shape and appearance than any other pistol makes. I believe that is partly why I like them, too, over any other TDAs. If you picture any one else's TDA, I don't think you can find another one that has such Colt-like lines. Most look vaguely European. But then too, the Smith was designed a long time ago, when those were THE popular lines to emulate. We didn't have Americans wanting to buy guns that looked like foreign pistols in those days. | ||||||
