I paid about $900 for my P88 in 1992 from a gun store in Cali, along with 2 magazines. Earl's was always the "high price" source for Walthers, and the only time I used them was for a repair of a PP safety.
During the '94AWB, I ordered additional magazines from a German distributor, but can't find the contact information. Finding a set of plastic grips these days will be a problem. Harvey/MO |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: $1695 YIKES I paid less then half of that for mine (in '88?) and I bought an extra mag. I could use a new set of plastic grips, but I've repairer and reinforced mine, and new grips are on the far back warming plate (not burner) Earl even likes that price for the FP...which has a very prone to failure electronic trigger. Mine worked for the 6 months that I had it, but they asked to have it sent back and refunded all my $$$. They probably learned about the failure problem, and wanted to take care of a good customer (10 Walther smallbore rifles for the UGA 4-H team) Harvey/ Ga |
