there is a gray area here the old glisintia pistol is in the area. the French have built several auto rifles that fall in this area. not quite locked and sort of a retared blowback. just long enough to break obrteration. just short of ripping the head off the case. the roller locked german rifles fall into this area but use a fluted chamber to float the case out | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You know what I think of calling something a "delayed blowback." It's locked or it's not. I am not familiar with the Nambu function, but it sounds like a locked breech. Anything other than the weight of the slide itself and strength of the recoil spring resisting breech opening is a locked breech. |
