I do have a vew rounds and collect for about 19yrs..
What would you say is the best way to display / store your collection? i allway's try to keep 2 or 3 of the same calebre, one for display & 1 /2 for swopping. The law's on my side in SA is a bit strict , we are not allowed to display your collection unless you have a walk in safe!..... whats the use then? i once started deactive the bullets ( remove the powder and primer) for display.. but now stuck with the law's.... i would like to cast it all in resin on display, but then i cant ad any.... Any advice? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thsnk you. I been collecting for over 25 years. Every time I go to a gun show you can find old cartridges for sell. When I'm at the gun range and somebody is shooting something I don't have I ask for a bullet. Most of the time they give me one for free. So far $5.00 is the most I've had to pay. I have found lot of them on the ground. I found a 22 Hornet on a fence post one time! |
