I can't give any advice as I don't know your laws. Never heard one can't display catridges but I am not surprised.
Mine are mainly live rounds. Some are only bullet and brass and done are empties. I have never given it any thought before. I did check our laws before I answered thus thread so I know I'm legal. Pretty much knew that before or I'd never done this display in the first place. One of my favorite in my collection is a 20mm spent cannon round shot from an F100D Super Sabre of the Missouri Air National Guard. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I do have a vew rounds and collect for about 19yrs.. What would you say is the best way to display / store your collection? i allway's try to keep 2 or 3 of the same calebre, one for display & 1 /2 for swopping. The law's on my side in SA is a bit strict , we are not allowed to display your collection unless you have a walk in safe!..... whats the use then? i once started deactive the bullets ( remove the powder and primer) for display.. but now stuck with the law's.... i would like to cast it all in resin on display, but then i cant ad any.... Any advice? |
