I like the Ruger 2 3/4" barrels as well. My Security Six, on permanent loan in Cali, has that barrel length.
3" M65 for parole officers? That was my reaction too. Evidently, she had been told to carry her handgun in her purse, and that she could use .38 Special ammunition in the M65. I suspect her male counterparts used 4" M65s, but still the question in my mind was "why"? Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I like the 2 3/4" length Ruger used on the Speed-six as well. Almost three inches. The slightly longer barrels carry better, and in the medium frame guns that usually end up being belt guns, they flop around less than the shorter barrels. 3" M65 for parole officers? |
