I'm playing Monday Morning QB (years later of course, but this photo came up on the home page for me, and I'm enjoying playing Robert and commenting on interesting pix  ), but...
..I think I'd have rather laid there (if forced to be supine) and simply used two hands rather than wasting one arm supporting my head and only shooting one-handed.... |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The quick answer is that the rules of the scenario called for shooting while lying down. The idea was that I was awakened to see those bad guys almost upon me and had to shoot immediately. Otherwise I would have not only sat up but jumped to cover and only then unleashed the power of my mighty swift sword. The particular posture was up to me as I recall and that was the best-supported position I could manage within the parameters. Stu |
