You know, if you are going to send it off to Robar for refinishing, you might consider having them do the gunsmithing. Robar is also a high quality gunsmithing firm. Just a thought.
C&S of course is top notch, especially with Hi-Powers, but they also have better part of a year--maybe more--waiting list to send them a gun. If I wasn't using Robar anyway, I' probably send a Hi-Power to Novak's .45 Shop, as they are right up there at the top for Hi-Powers in this country. And of course they are very close to you. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Actually, I'm looking to send it off to Robar to get the NP3 plus metal treatment. I'm looking to get the following done to it: Beavertail added (as much as i don't want to I find that I HATE the hammer bite) Dehorn it to get rid of sharp edges. Add some dark Cocobolo grips to it. Maybe have some better sites milled into it. I'm still thinking on what sites. I'm thinking maybe some night sights. We're a ROBAR dealer now. TJ |
