Good idea. They have a nice rep in the business for turning stuff around and they've already done some smithing for me on a revolver I sent them. They were half the price of a local smith to put a new barrel on the revolver and since they were going to put the NP3 Plus finish on it anyway...

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You know, if you are going to send it off to Robar for refinishing, you might consider having them do the gunsmithing. Robar is also a high quality gunsmithing firm. Just a thought. C&S of course is top notch, especially with Hi-Powers, but they also have better part of a year--maybe more--waiting list to send them a gun. If I wasn't using Robar anyway, I' probably send a Hi-Power to Novak's .45 Shop, as they are right up there at the top for Hi-Powers in this country. And of course they are very close to you. |
