To me, the C96 looks ungainly. I have held them. They are not comfortable for ME. I MUCH prefer the 1911, as much as I make fun of the fanboys of them. It IS ergonomic. I can see why the C96 eventually fell out of favor with pretty much everyone except the Chinese. 
Still, I have never fired one, so I can't really say how much they'd recoil. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Don't those just make you drool? You either love or hate the lines--there is no neutral ground! Kind of like a Luger P08, or the original Colt M1911, but perhaps more so. |
