For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: An old .38 Super isn't a good example--Colt tried to make those headspace on the vestigial semi-rim for decades, with resultant poor accuracy. No one could get them to shoot. When Colt finally wised up and began setting up their .38 Supers to headspace on the case mouth like other pistols, the problem disappeared. |
