For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The 1920 was simply a mark to indicate that the firearm belonged to the German military (and police) for the purpose of counting weapons against the limitations imposed on Germany by the Treaty of Versailles. It also identified that a firearm, in the hands of a civilian, had it illegally. It wasn't a date as many thought. Harvey |
