I would think that could be done with a shorter sling that would give better muzzle protection and control overall. Guess I'll have to find a two-point sling for my M4 and play with it to see what I'm missing.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: All it takes is move the right hand back, grab the pistol grip and swing the rifle up into firing position. I guess that's the intention, although I'm unaware of what they do to insert the magazine.  The IDF has their own ways of doing things, that's for sure.
