For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It is an interesting book, although it clearly shows the fellow teetered on the edge of immorality. This is Col Charles Askins, the son. Major Charles Askins was the father. Col. Askins liked killing people, and thought nothing of blowing them away, whether from far away, or up close and personal. To him it held no more significance than swatting a fly, and he made that clear in his biography. I still have it because Jerry didn't want it back, but will have to see if I can find it, as I did not want it on my book shelves. |
