Before Clinton pulled the plug, the ones imported here had "Model of the 1911" in big letters on the slide, an obvious Chinese misunderstanding of American grammar and a real irritant to me
You're probably correct, as my memory ain't what it used to be. I'm kinda curious about how TJ's got into this country. I don't think upgraded later versions got legally imported. I have no idea when or how his Norinco came into the US. Just spitballing, I think it might have been imported back in the day, then customized? Harvey |
