I'm kinda curious about how TJ's got into this country. I don't think upgraded later versions got legally imported.
They did not. Only one version, the original, was imported here. I "assume" TJ's was simply a highly customized older model, which included scrubbing the slide significantly. Or it could be a Nork with a new slide. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Before Clinton pulled the plug, the ones imported here had "Model of the 1911" in big letters on the slide, an obvious Chinese misunderstanding of American grammar and a real irritant to me. Those are the ones I was kidding about. I'm kinda curious about how TJ's got into this country. I don't think upgraded later versions got legally imported. Stu |
