I admit to Partzheimers. Wink Remembering the roll marks on a pistol from 20 years ago is really beyond my capabilities today. Frown

Also, Springfield has always used "1911-A1" rather than "1911A1."

"Like that" or exactly that? BigGrin It didn't have "the" on the slide, you can bet on that. Wink If Springfield EVER did that you'd know, it would be so weird it would be common knowlege. Also, I still own a Springfield from 1990 or so, and it certainly has no Chingrish on the slide--Springfields not being Chinese pistols of course. Also, Springfield has always used "1911-A1" rather than "1911A1."
