I prefer the angle-framed version for two reasons. The first is what strikes you when you look at it - that angled dust cover adds interest to the viewer, it's different from so many other pistols, gives a "racier" look to the gun and is just more attractive to me. The second reason is that it is likely easier to re-holster, a practical reason but mostly that's a good looking pistol!

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Which do you like better, the straight frame version or the angled frame version? I always liked the straight frame version. Referring to the line of the dust cover here. (The angled frame version was mostly available as the Ladysmith, but some were made as the 3913 NL, and not marked Ladysmith. These are rare.) |
