I like the shrouded ejector rods better (as evidenced by my other revolvers.  However, when it comes to DS revolvers, I tend to grab them whenever I see them at a good price.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Sorry about that. I thought of it after I posted. But on the topic of ejector rods on DS, do you favor one or another? Harvey
