Yes, your OP is longer than mine which only has a 4" barrel.
(I had typed a previous response, but the site went into a Maintenance halt and my message seemed to have disappeared.) I would prefer a 4" OP, but mine was given to me, so no harm, no foul. My revolver preference (Colt, Smith, Ruger) was always a 4" barrel for general purpose shooting, rather than for precision target shooting. YMMV. Harvey |
