First choice, a 1911, second choice a S&W 4" highway patrolman (who needs 16 rounds of 9MM when one properly placed 357 will do the trick)
Back in the day when it was all S&W Md 10's with a heavy barrel the city issued "humanitarian rounds" a 140 grain lead semi wad cutter that was known to bounce off of a windshield. We pulled the bullets and reloaded the rounds with 2400, they didn't bounce off of anything, never got caught so never a problem. |
