No, it had nothing to do with the trigger, I can't remember now (because it has been more than five minutes) but it had something to do with the mainspring housing.
The worst 1911 .22s I tried out were the ones made by Walther and marketed as "Colt" and other brands. Just awful. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Did the disconnector have anything to to do with trigger operation? I'm wondering if removing it improved the trigger pull like it does on a BHP. I shot a friend's imported 1911 .22 and I can't remember the manufacturer's name. It had a terrible trigger so it must not have been a Sig/GSG. That is a really nice looking pistol... |
