Right! I have had absolutely no desire to ever fire a single round from one of these. They now also make another version for the same X-frame (Xtra Large) in another monster caliber called the .460 Magnum. It's "only" a .45 rather than a .50, but it uses a pointed bullet and can push a 200gr bullet to 2300fps!

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I can understand a 4" 44 magnum as a bear gun, you wouldn't shoot it on a daily basis so hearing and wrist damage wouldn't be an issue but this monster in a 4" version would cause a bad and, possibly fatal case of the "yips" should you ever need it.....not for the faint of heart! |
