Waterlox is a varnish with Tung Oil. It doesn't have the extreme dryers like Tru Oil. You need to use a wet sanding technique. The procedure is covered here.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks! I'm not familiar with Waterlox. Does it work like the usual stock finish where I sand it back repeatedly as the pores fill, and eventually can final finish? Or is this something unique. I know--look it up on the web--I'll do that! I will check out Pilkington's. |
