Electroless Nickle? Image below from Allan Tarvid - Image Title: photos Image Info: This old 6-inch Python was developing holster rust near the end of the barrel so I had it refinished about 15 years ago (a horrible thing to have to do to an old Python''s beautiful glassy look). A gunsmith friend was experimenting with a new finish (I can''t remember what it was called) and he removed the rust and did this combination satin finish with glass-smooth cylinder flutes and highlights. The grips and speed loaders are from Safariland.  |
