Nice!
The local shop I teach at has an FEG clone going for $650. That'a a bit too spendy IMHO. I'm still waiting to see if it drops in price a bit, but I'm not holding my breath |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: As one who watches a good number of specific guns on Gun Broker, and admittedly uses that source as something of a makeshift on-going price guide, I can say they are going up in price, but there are knowledge gaps, and so one can still acquire one for a steal now and then. And they still almost always beat a Browning or FN-marked pistol for price. Unless you are a collector however, and FEGs are not really collectible in the mainstream yet, you're going to have to add good sights to any FEG, it is and was a Hi-Power weak point from almost all companies. One company that put semi-decent sights on their Hi-Power clones earlier than some was the Bulgarian Arcus, which appeared around 1994. I emphasize clone rather than copy because they took the svelte Hi-Power lines and straightened the curves a bit to give it a more businesslike look, or perhaps just to ease manufacturing? Here's a link to an NRA PDF with a short review of the Arcus 94, scroll down to the 4th or 5th one-page article: |
