I had an FM BHP when they first came into the US. Mine was a matte blue with plastic stocks. Fit and finish was good, it was accurate and reliable. These were made under license to FN, and used FN tooling. IIRC, I paid something like $300 for it. Probably one of the best bargains on a Hi-Power to come along with the Israeli Kareen and the FEG.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have a FM (Argentina) the finish is parkerized with wood stocks, not near as "pretty" as a FN but it goes bang every time I pull the trigger. Anybody else out there have one? Your opinion / experience? Image below from Mark Freburg - Image Title: photos Image Info: FEG Hi-Power 9mm pistol.
