I belong to a Hi-Power group on Facebook that I think you turned me on to. They don't differentiate among Hi-Powers there, and I really think you shouldn't either. "Hi-Power" is like "Kleenex." It may be a brand name but it is essentially a design product identifier, a pistol design in this case. Like "1911." I say this because I don't think you should feel so compelled to almost guiltily explain that your pistols are not Brownings but are Hi-Powers. Just be proud of them and let the chips fall where they may. Most likely there will in fact be no chips. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Here are mine. I have an Inglis MK 1 Chinese Contract complete with stock. It's fun to shoot! My second is an FEG Clone that, for all intents and purposes, is a Hi-Power. The bluing is awesome, the gun is solid and it takes standard Hi-Power magazines and companies such as Cylinder and Slide are known to work on them. The best picture I have is listed below.
