I can remember way back you could get one with the fixed sights for under $100. Today you pay that for a "brick" of ammo! Image below from TJ Parmele - Image Title: Colt Woodsman Image Info: This is my grandfather's Colt Woodsman. Family legend says it kept the alley next to the house clear of marauding and noisy tomcats. I think it was made circa 1937. Need to research the Serial Number on it.  |
