I've owned a PPK in .32acp and a PPK/S in .380 in the past. I can't say either one was a terrific range gun, but the PPK was an occasional concealed carry pistol for me back in the day, when the choices were somewhat limited. I never experienced hammer bite with either pistol, but I know a lot of people did. Both of mine, IIRC, were Interarms imports.
When S&W started making and selling them in the US, I think the MSRP was $480, so the MSRP in the video was a bit surprising. I agree with the reviewer that my Sig P230, Makarov PMs, and CZ82/83s were better handling pistols, and primarily because the technologies and materials involved in those were much newer. Harvey |
