Didn't know that.  I still think it's something cobbled together, ugly and not worth the $$$$$.  Truth is I don't think I would want it at any price.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There are booklets with Colt serial numbers for collectors--would be cheaper than paying for a factory letter.
