I carry on my right hip both when hunting (a S&W 66 2 1/2 round butt clone from Taurus) in a leather "break snap" belt holster or when in the city (a PPK/S 380 ACP) in an inside the waistband holster.
Either way if something goes horribly wrong and I shoot myself at least it's my fat ass that gets hit and not something much more meaningful! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Appendix carry is more than just a fad. It is extremely popular with a large following. Many holster companies make appendix holsters and many instructors now do a block of instruction on to do it. I personally don’t buy into it but it is very popular and isn’t going to fade out like a fad would. |
