Part of me is telling me I saw something like this pictured as a cheap cheap "copy" of a 1911 made by an enemy of ours during a war...Vietnam perhaps? Tunnel factory? Can't verify it, just strikes me that way.
Could be, as the Viet Cong, early in the war, made a lot of "home made weapons". I believe Vietnam did make more advanced 1911 copies as well. They did make copies of the 1911 as well as adapted some to fire the 7.62x25 round. Harvey |
