I don't know if I used to plink more when Eric and I used to plink--he's had his own .22 Ruger since he was about 12 (?), and today owns far more .22 pistols and rifles than I own. Or perhaps I just used to enjoy it more? I kind of think I got used to the same kind of .22 plinking but with centerfires when I was handloading cheaply and/or buying dirt cheap 9mm and .45--but all that is either gone or suspended with prices for everything so high.
I do have a lot of .22, but not hoarding-level quantities. Eric probably has more .22 ammo, but he has 2-3 times the number of .22s I have. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I still have a few boxes of CCI Mini-Match(?) left from a brick I bought about fifty years ago. I guess that's nothing to brag about. 
I've got some odds and ends of other .22 ammo as well, stuff with higher velocity for .22 pin shooting and some shot shells, but I really hardly ever did any .22 plinking. Stu |
