For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I went through about eight years shooting and carrying Glocks--we had a former member who lived locally and got me into them, plus current member and old friend Kim pushed them as well. ![]() Long story short--I bought that Model 19 Glock so I could do the bulk of my practice on the range with the lighter recoiling 9mm. A little .40 shooting, and the rest with the 9mm. I also switched my office mouse to my left hand and learned to use it. (Eventually I started using my office mouse with my left hand and my spare bedroom mouse with my right, once the tendinitis was healed up, and today I'm fully ambidextrous with a mouse. I shoot decently with both hands as well. I did like that green frame color. I had a Model 36 .45 in the same color--you see where I apparently thought it was ugly at the time. I was searching for that model and could only get a green one. Image below from Mark Freburg - Image Title: Glock 36 ![]() Today I have only one Glock--a first generation model 22 converted to 9mm. I prefer steel pistols as well. |
