I wonder why they didn't just carry 1911's in 45 ACP from day one?  Sure beats any 38 Special or 357 Magnum as a fight stopper.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Well, you make a good point--the FBI was the originator of "10mm Lite," weren't they?   (That's what happens when you give lawyers and accountants guns....)
